Today’s toy box seems to pose a greater risk to children of lead poisoning that old, lead-based paint, ever did. Mattel announced earlier this week that the “Sarge” die cast toy cars, imported from China, may contain excessive lead levels. Parents should frequently consult the US Consumer Product Safety Commission to keep their children’s toy box non-toxic.
