San Francisco trucking attorneys prevailed in San Francisco Superior Court when a jury found CHP dispatch “grossly negligent” in their handling of a deadly 2003 trucking accident. The dispatch center failed to call an ambulance, yet reported one was on its way. The mishandling could have been a factor in the death of Richard Housley, who was crushed between the truck and trailer of the truck he was driving. The jury found the mishandling to be a departure from the normal standard of care.
