This Sunday, the death of a young woman could have been avoided had the driver of the van she rode in paid attention to traffic ahead of him. Instead, at approximately 9:54 p.m. Pakom Lengrichaem sped along I-5 just south of the Herndon crossing at 75 mph. Lengrichaem failed to notice traffic slowing ahead and struck the rear of a tomato truck driving at approximately 15 mph. Lengrichaem sustained serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital; the driver of the tomato truck was not harmed. Click here to read more about this incident.
