The CSPC and Summit Tree Stands, LLC of Decatur, AL have announced the recall of 106,000 full-body safety harnesses sold with hunting tree stands at sporting goods stores nationwide over the course of the last year.

The harnesses are tan or light brown and were sold as an accessory with the following tree stands or ladders: Viper X5, Goliath X5, Razor X5, Bushmaster X5, Broadhead Backpacker, Bullet Backpacker, Clearshot, Openshot, and MegaSampson. Only harnesses with “Manufactured in 2005,” and “Made in China” printed on a label on the harness tether are included in this recall.
