After receiving complaints of Sony laptop batteries spontaneously catching on fire, Toshiba Corporation is recalling over 10,000 of Sony’s lithium-ion battery packs. The batteries may short-circuit, and cause serious injuries. Consumers with these batteries should immediately stop use and consult their local Toshiba dealer for a free replacement.
