On June 26, 2007, Bond Manufacturing Company issued a recall for the Rockingham Deluxe Lounge Chair. The chairs are also sold as Vanderwall Folding Recliner Chairs. Due to a design flaw, these chairs may collapse or fall backwards. The recall was announced after no less than 13 consumers experienced severe injuries to their shoulders, back, neck and head. Bond has established a toll-free consumer help-line at (866) 771-2663 and is offering a full refund to consumers. Consumers of the chairs should stop using them immediately to avoid risk of serious bodily injury. If you are injured by this defective product, you should immediately consult a product liability attorney.
